I paint flowers because they are the ultimate symbol of hope, possibility, and perseverance. A tiny seed deep, beneath the surface of the Earth, planted in the dark, damp soil, pushes through darkness to find the light.

The flower is a beacon, calling us to remember that no matter how dark our surroundings or circumstances, we contain the same possibility and hope. We contain multitudes.
