I believe in having a village. I believe in walking through the world connected to people by choice and by biology and by both.
I believe that having a village means being surrounded - physically, virtually, energetically - by people who knew us then and people who know us now, by people who push us to stretch and grow while holding onto where we've come from. having a village is shared history and shared memory, it's shared present, and the dream of a shared future.
I'm feeling tremendous gratitude for my village these holidays and beyond.
