I believe that busy is a state of mind.
There's been lots written about this lately, about busy as a measure of self-worth, as a status symbol. We are all busy, it's a fact of our modern-day plugged-in lives. We all have work, family, friends, interests, obligations, and then some. There will always be piano recitals, board retreats, somebody's birthday. There will always be deadlines, holidays, out-of-town friends coming to visit. And what a privilege it is to have this work, these friends, holidays to celebrate, this life.
This is life, after all.
